Moat Lodge Management is made up of 5-8 Directors including the Chairperson. Most of the Directors have at some point resided at Moat Lodge or still do and the others are landlords that take a real interest in the property. This creates a balanced mix of viewpoints and opinions allowing fair decisions to be made on behalf of the leaseholders. It also allows different concerns to be addressed and eyes and ears for each of the 3 blocks that make up Moat Lodge.

The Moat Lodge Directors and Chair meet regularly to discuss and plan the running of Moat Lodge and are in constant contact via email and phone.

 

Over the years the Directors have worked hard to get the Moat Lodge accounts back in credit, to resolve a number of serious health and safety issues, to manage the budget and ensure that maintenance of Moat Lodge was afforded and that service charges have seen very minimal increases.

 

They have been responsible for the installation of flower troughs and improved planting throughout the grounds, improved lighting, new signage, double glazing of almost every window saving thousands on exterior painting, introduction of a parking enforcement company, repaving of pathways that were seriously dangerous, improvement to the walkways at the front block by installing a resin base and redecoration of the railings, soffits and walls, along with replacement of the House roof and internal decoration to communal hallways.

It is the aim of the Directors to continue to manage the finances well, whilst making improvements to the property as well as ensuring that maintenance and health and safety are always at the forefront of decision making. With the best interest of Moat Lodge and its residents and leaseholders always in mind.

The rules and regulations set by the Moat Lodge Management are in accordance with the terms of the lease and to ensure that Moat Lodge remains a property that is desirable to live at and that decisions are fairly based.
